Differences between Infrared Heaters Termoсonfort Ceramic and Infrared Heaters Termoconfort Lux

In 2010 the manufacturer of Termoconfort infrared heaters started production of re-designed infrared heaters Termoconfort. A new series of Termoconfort infrared heaters was given the name Termoconfort Ceramic.

The main part of Termoconfort Lux infrared heater that is the heating element has been changed. The new model of heat-radiating plate of infrared heater Termoconfort Ceramic is manufactured with a ceramic coating achieved by the method of micro-arc oxidation (hereinafter referred to as MAO).

What is a Ceramic Coating and what is the Advantage of this Type of Coating over Traditional Anodizing?
A new ceramic coating is applied to the surface of an irradiating plate of the infrared heater Termoconfort Ceramic under the action of a complex physico-chemical process as a result of which a thin layer of ceramics is formed (in our case it is 30 microns). Ceramics covers the metal not just with a superficially applied layer, during the MAO process a coating layer is formed consisting of the oxidized forms of the base metal elements and the ceramics itself which binds two seemingly incompatible materials – ceramics and metal with the strongest structure – a metal-ceramic grid. You must have recollected the dentist – metal-ceramic prosthetics: high quality but expensive. Yes this is the thing only there it is a single tooth and here the coverage area is much larger. Still no need to worry the coating is really not cheap but the properties that it gives to the new heater are worth it. This coating has all the properties of the ordinary ceramics. They include infrared radiation from a ceramic surface that is considered to be the maximum available in material techniques and the ceramic MAO surface itself is similar as per characteristics to an absolutely black body known in physics as the perfect 100% infrared emitter. Thus the infrared emitting component takes the maximum proportion of the consumed electrical energy which significantly increases the efficiency of the device. Furthermore, the ceramic surface is extremely refractory and is destroyed only by the disruption (melting) of the carrying metal itself.

Termoconfort Ceramic infrared heater with a new plate significantly saves energy due to increased radiating ability of the plate. The warranty period for all models of Termoconfort infrared heaters will be three years. We adhere to the principle not to mislead the buyer about the high warranty periods which are used by some companies focusing on the proverb: “Either the donkey dies or the padish”.

How to Distinguish Termoconfort Ceramic Infrared Heater with Ceramic MAO Coating from Termoconfort Lux Infrared Heater with Anodized Radiating Surface?

# White heaters. Heater plate color of ceramic heater Termoconfort Ceramic is snow-white marble not grey as after anodizing of Termoconfort Lux infrared heater.
# Lining color heaters. Heater plate color of ceramic heater Termoconfort Ceramic is closer to coffee with milk color, while of infrared heater Termoconfort Lux is yellow or golden as our customers call this color.
# By touch irradiating plate of ceramic heater Termoconfort Ceramic is more rough than the plate of the heater Termoconfort Lux that is smooth. Both plates are ribbed.

Currently there is only one infrared heater with a ceramic MAO coating at the Russian and international markets that is the heater under the Termoconfort trademark.
